Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital in Springfield, MO provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal‑cord injuries, amputations, multiple traumas, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries and other conditions. The facility is accredited by the Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

• Performs basic patient care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provides general nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment.
• Assists with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation.
• Takes and documents vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, as well as intake and output measurements.
• Assists in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings.
• Maintains a clean and comfortable patient environment.
• Responds promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Preferred:
  Six months of experience working in a healthcare setting.
• Teamwork, effective communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Certifications:
  
  CPR/BLS required.
• Education:
  
  High School Diploma/GED.
