SPRINGFIELD, MO Title – Backend Lead

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Microservices Lead with extensive experience in developing and designing solutions for ECommerce clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microservices architecture, cloud technologies, and a deep understanding of the ECommerce domain. This role involves leading the design and implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure microservices-based solutions that meet the business needs of our ECommerce clients.

• Architectural Design:
  Lead the design and development of microservices architecture for ECommerce applications ensuring scalability, reliability and security.
• Solution Development:
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement microservices-based solutions that enhance the digital presence and customer engagement of ECommerce clients.
• Technical Leadership:
  Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams ensuring best practices in microservices design, development and deployment.
• Integration:
  Design and implement integration solutions with third‑party systems ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
• Performance Optimization:
  Optimize the performance of microservices applications ensuring high availability and responsiveness.
• Documentation:
  Create and maintain architectural documentation including design patterns, technical specifications and best practices.
• Stakeholder
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with stakeholders including product managers, business analysts and client representatives to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in microservices and ECommerce and continuously improve the architecture and solutions.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 15 years of experience in software development with at least 5 years in microservices architecture and ECommerce solutions.

• Proficiency in microservices architecture including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of ECommerce platforms and technologies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and database technologies (SQL, No
  
  SQL).
• Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and tools (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git).

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Certifications:
  
  Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, microservices architecture or ECommerce platforms.

  Experience with frontend technologies (React, Angular) and mobile application development.
