There’s nothing like game day in Ozark!
Strengthening community through recreation is at the heart of what we do, and our sports programs wouldn’t be possible without dedicated, passionate staff. Our sports officials and scorekeepers play a critical role in creating a positive, fair, and safe environment where athletes of all ages can compete, grow, and have fun.
As a Sports Official / Scorekeeper, you’ll be on the front lines of the action — enforcing rules, keeping games running smoothly, tracking scores, and helping maintain good sportsmanship on and off the field. You’ll communicate confidently with players, coaches, and fellow officials while helping ensure every participant has a safe and enjoyable experience. If you’re knowledgeable about sports, attentive, fair-minded, and able to stay calm under pressure, this could be the perfect fit.
This seasonal position offers flexible scheduling, primarily during evenings and weekends, with work taking place in both indoor and outdoor environments. CPR/First Aid certification is required (or completed shortly after hire).
Make a difference in your community, build valuable skills, and be part of the excitement that brings people together. Join the City of Ozark Parks & Recreation team — where every game matters, and so do you.
