Position: Distribution Driver (PRN)

PRN driver position available. As needed and cannot guarantee hours, but approximately 14 per week.

Unscheduled routes Monday-Friday and some weekends and holidays for all shifts.

Additional hours as needed.

Drivers are expected to take at least 2 trips per month.

Starting Pay: $15.00/hr.

Job Summary

Drives to scheduled locations, delivering products or supplies and picking up products or supplies to be returned to CBCO.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reports at proper departure time to accomplish a lawful and timely trip to destination.

Loads all supplies, products, etc. to accompany on that trip.

Delivers products or supplies and returns product to proper location.

Acts with proper conduct representing CBCO.

Has good communications to provide excellent customer service.

Ensures that vehicle is checked for gas, tires aired and adequate tread, and vehicle maintains proper oil level.

Provides excellent customer service, cultivating positive working relationships with all staff, volunteers and external customers.

Exhibits safety, accuracy, respectfulness and efficiency within specific job tasks.

Assists with special projects as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Must have good vision for both day and night driving.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for loading or unloading of vehicles.

Job Specifications

High school graduate or equivalent.

Must have valid driver’s license, clean driving record and Class E license.

Must also be approved by the agency auto insurance carrier to be an approved driver.

Must be at least 21 years of age;
Must pass a drug screen.

Must have good communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

Must be able to arrive at CBCO within 20 minutes of accepting a trip.
