Position Summary
Supports core return compliance, material tracking, and refurb process coordination to ensure efficient movement of service parts across the reverse logistics network.
Duties and Responsibilities- Monitor and manage all core return activity from field technicians, ensuring accurate documentation and on-time return compliance.
- Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments/receipts between field, depot, and repair vendors to maintain material flow efficiency.
- Maintain and update Oracle Fusion or internal databases with Receipts, RMA, tracking, and refurb status details.
- Assist in scheduling and tracking refurbished materials, ensuring alignment with repair vendors and internal inventory needs.
- Serve as a primary logistics contact for field service teams, resolving part return discrepancies and assisting with RMA, Core Returns, Excess, etc. creation.
- Prepare and maintain reports for return rates, turnaround times, and exceptions for management review.
- Communicate with logistics partners and refurb vendors to confirm receipt, condition, and disposition of returned materials.
- Ensure adherence to established logistics processes, safety standards, and audit requirements for serialized material.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance tracking accuracy, return visibility, and core recovery performance.
- Assist the Service Logistics Manager with data collection, KPI tracking, and other initiatives supporting cost savings and operational goals.
- Monitor and support all aspects of technician inventory administration, including receipts, usage, returns, tech-to-tech transfers, and inventory counts to ensure accuracy and accountability across the field network.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Problem Solving – will need to promptly identify and resolve problems by gathering and analyzing information skillfully, developing alternative solutions, working well with others to implement solutions, and using reason while dealing with emotional topics.
- Customer Service – will need to manage difficult or emotional vendor situations, respond promptly to customer needs, solicit feedback from the customer, respond and request assistance when asked or needed, and meet commitments made to customers.
- Oral Communication – will need to speak clearly and persuasively in a positive manner, even in adverse situations, and listen and ask for clarification when needed.
- Teamwork – will contribute to building a positive team spirit.
- Attendance/Punctuality – will be at work and on time to work consistently and ensure work duties are covered when absent.
- Associate or bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2+ years in logistics, inventory, or operations coordination required.
- Ability to sit and stay focused for long periods of time
- Vision correctable to 20/20
- Finger dexterity for keyboarding and computer usage
