Position Summary
The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies along with Federal and State regulations and delivers all freight undamaged. Work as a team player to deliver, load/unload materials while providing a world class customer service experience.
Duties & Responsibilities- Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation.
- Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites.
- Deliver materials to assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you.
- Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
- Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment.
- Lifts heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs for load/unload.
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL);
Minimum Class B License, Class A strongly preferred. - Clear 3‑year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

- Lifts heavy building materials up to 80 lbs for loading/unloading.
- Frequently moves materials weighing up to 80 lbs while unloading flatbed.
- Constantly moves from unloading materials from the vehicle onto the job site.
- Operates a commercial vehicle and/or boom vehicle, positioning oneself to unload materials.
- Judges distance while delivering materials and/or operating boom.
- Communicates with management and coworkers and exchanges accurate information.
- Works in an outdoor environment while making deliveries.
- Prioritizes job sites and deadlines.
- Manages stress depending on customer deadlines.
- Multitasks effectively.
- Receives information and directions.
- Communicates solutions quickly if problems occur.
- Demonstrates high degree of sound judgement.
The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $23.51 to $29.90 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on location, education, training, and/or experience. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime, performance‑based bonus programs, commissions, car allowance or automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
