Schedule

Monday-Friday, with layovers and occasional Saturdays. Start and end times vary. Drivers averaging upwards of 12 hours per day. 4- & 5-day work weeks available.

Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. They ensure customers’ products arrive at the scheduled times and in good condition, building lasting relationships with customers.

• Communicate and interact professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Perform safety checks, including pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of tractor, truck, and trailer per DOT regulations.
• Report all safety issues and necessary repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safe‑driving guidelines.
• Inspect trailers for proper loading and secure freight.
• Count items and verify customer invoices.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Drive to and deliver orders according to the predetermined schedule.
• Unload and transport products to customer storage areas.
• Perform damage‑control checks, scan items, and notify supervisor per company policy.
• Verify delivery, obtain signatures, collect money when required, and secure trailer.
• Handle returns, unload damaged goods, and maintain clean trailers.
• Record hours of service and enter them into the log per Federal, state, and company requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, and keep trailers clear.
• Secure all equipment and complete paperwork at shift end.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL‑A; CDL A is required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report for the past 3 years.
• Pass post‑offer drug test, criminal background check, and road test.
• Maintain or obtain a valid DOT Health Card.
• Ability to hand‑lift and use equipment for product cases ranging from 10–35 lbs to 60–90 lbs.
