This local night shift position in Springfield, OH requires a Tanker & Haz Mat Endorsement Driver – Class A CDL.

• Conduct inspection of fuel delivery equipment before, during, and after operation—including tractor/trailer combination.
• Conduct inspection of fuel delivery equipment for serviceability.
• Perform minor repairs of worn fuel delivery equipment.
• Ensure all unit and product documents are present and comply with current DOT and HAZMAT regulations.
• Safely operate a fuel delivery tractor/trailer combination.
• Adhere to fuel loading terminal operating instructions and emergency procedures.
• Operate the tractor/trailer in urban and rural environments and in all weather conditions while complying with all federal, state, and local rules.
• Comply with all terminal loading procedures.
• Determine before and after delivery tank measurements, checking for water and other contamination.
• Follow company procedures for loading and unloading a fuel delivery unit.
• Employ customer‑service skills consistent with the company policy.
• Safely operate unit pump system to deliver fuel into above‑ground tanks.
• Operate the on‑board computer system to maintain driver logs, trip information, and prepare customer bills of lading (BOL).
• Accurately provide assessorial information on the BOL.
• Provide DOT with required information during inspections and stops.
• Conduct pump out of below or above‑ground tanks.

• CDL A with Tanker and Haz Mat endorsements required.
• May be required to lift, push, or pull materials up to 50 pounds.
• Minimum of 2 years CDL Class A driving experience.
• Experience in the petroleum industry is preferred.
• Must complete a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person or in writing.
• Tractor/trailer driving experience is preferred.
