Local CDL A or B Driver

Position Purpose

The CDL Driver at SRS ensures safety, timely delivery of building materials to job sites, verifies inventory, follows safety protocols, and maintains high service standards. The role supports operational efficiency and fosters strong customer relationships through professionalism, teamwork, and responsiveness.

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and verify inventory accuracy.
• Ensure secure, damage‑free deliveries and document deliveries with photos per company policy.
• Assess job site conditions to prevent hazards and collaborate with customers for material placement.
• Load and unload materials with forklifts or manually, handling up to 100lbs.
• Read job‑related documents in English and adhere to safety protocols.
• Maintain high service standards while working in varied weather and noisy environments.

• Valid CDL ClassA or B with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record.
• 1–2years of commercial driving experience, including operating forklifts and mandatory forklift certification.
• Physically capable of long hours driving and handling materials up to 100lbs.
• Must be 18years or older (21years for interstate/hazmat).
• Background check, drug test, E‑Verify, and FMCSA Clearinghouse verification required.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Hazmat endorsement.
• Strong vehicle maintenance skills.
• Experience with multi‑drop deliveries and fleet management systems.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and multilingual abilities.

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDLA or CDLB) with Air Brakes Endorsement.
• Current DOT Medical Certificate.
• FMCSA Registration.

• Long hours with fast‑paced schedules and varied weather conditions.
• Travel within a 200‑mile radius; no overnight stays.
• Safe, timely deliveries, on‑site coordination, and occasional yard support.
