Eligibility & Background
The Department of War Skill Bridge program allows transitioning military members to train and learn with an industry partner during the last 180 days of active duty. Applicants must be currently serving, on Active Duty or in the U.S. Armed Forces, and within one year of the end of active service transition date.

- Ensure compliance with all required safety policies and procedures.
- Analyze daily route information and implement changes to routing to improve efficiency and accuracy using the internal routing platform.
- Use routing system visibility to analyze and respond to same‑day changes or next‑day planning for customer service needs to ensure on‑route efficiencies and improve route design.
- Ensure all routes are closed on time by verifying data for accuracy and making the close route process durable.
- Quickly and proactively evaluate and resolve problems that may arise while trucks and drivers are in transit.
- Proactively manage driver safety and security of company assets and provide direction to drivers.
- Collect, interpret, and analyze logistics data including inventory, asset reliability, and other route data to make decisions that increase overall routing accuracy.
- Maintain constant communication with drivers to evaluate route progress and provide necessary information.
- Review container supply and demand reports and populate the inventory management report.
- Update and input route information into the computer system on a daily basis.
- Collect daily on‑site container information and update the inventory log.
- Assist dispatchers by responding to customer and driver complaints and inquiries.
- Report safety or customer service related issues to supervisor or manager immediately.
- Maintain and process operations information such as vehicle maintenance, accounting and route sheets.
- Distribute, collect, and review route sheets for proper billing and productivity reports.
- Assist in generating monthly productivity reports.
