Heavy Haul Driver - Class A

Capital Paving is seeking Class A Equipment Heavy Haul Drivers for our commercial paving crews in the Springfield, MO area. Successful candidates should have Haz Mat endorsement and a clean driving record. Some prior experience driving in a construction setting is desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES Communicate regularly with dispatcher.

Ensure a safe work environment while maintaining compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

Driver will be assigned loads, report as directed to job site, and complete a work order daily for that job.

Driver is expected to perform daily truck inspections.

Maintain truck logs or time recordings.

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS Valid CDL Class A-Hazmat Clean driving records

Must be punctual, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a good attendance record.

Previous experience driving experience.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Excellent communication skills to interact at all levels.

Work overtime, nights, weekends, as needed.

Willing to travel/work out of town.

Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
