Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive a straight truck or tractor‑trailer to transport products locally or out of town.
• Spot trailers for loading and unloading and perform other truck driving duties as directed by the supervisor.
• Transport products between shipping departments, move parts and other items between facilities, make over‑the‑road runs, load and unload flatbed trucks, and stage on dock as needed.
• Maintain trucks by cleaning, checking oil, and performing general vehicle maintenance.
• Keep required records, including shuttle move logs and daily vehicle inspection logs.
• Backup drivers will perform warehouse job duties as assigned.

• Class A CDL with a current medical certificate.
• Compliance with Department of Transportation requirements.
• Capacity to pass the Packing and Shipping Operator’s Test.
• Ability to obtain a Haz‑mat endorsement when required.

• Perform work for a minimum of eight hours.
• Walk, see, and use both hands freely.
• Lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist and from waist to floor.
• Lift 90 lbs. occasionally.
