Perform Delivery Driver Operations for Performance Food service in Springfield, MO. Annual average pay of $83,500 plus $10,000 sign‑on bonus. Primary schedule Monday‑Friday with occasional Saturday, average 10-12 hours per day. Dispatch times 3am-5am with occasional overnight routes.

• Drive tractor‑trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver food and related products.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers, answering questions accurately.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip safety checks and inspections of tractor, truck, and trailer according to DOT regulations.
• Report all safety issues, repairs, and hazards immediately.
• Inspect trailers for proper loading, secure freight, and verify freight count against invoices.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Drive to customers, unload products, conduct damage checks, and scan items.
• Obtain proper signatures for deliveries, collect payments, and load returns onto trailer.
• Secure all equipment, lock trailers, and maintain cleanliness in the tractor, loading dock, and trailers.
• Record hours of service and maintain logs per Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
• Perform general housekeeping and other related duties as assigned.

• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or state‑approved equivalent.
• Valid CDL

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past three years.
• Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one.
• Able to hand‑lift, lift‑gate, or use two‑wheeler equipment to move and stack product cases and freight weighing 10-35 pounds, up to 90 pounds.
