We are seeking an experienced truck driver to support our supply chain logistics department, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods.
Responsibilities Include
- Transporting finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing, retail, and distribution centers
- Inspecting vehicles for mechanical and safety issues, performing preventive maintenance
- Planning routes to meet delivery schedules
- Documenting work/rest periods, miles driven, and retaining fuel and toll receipts
- Inputting data into automated systems during loading and unloading
- Adhering to trucking regulations, company policies, and safety standards
- Positioning trucks for loading/unloading, verifying delivery instructions, and reporting issues
- Proven experience as a truck driver with knowledge of electronic equipment (GPS, AVL, CB)
- Ability to drive long hours and adapt to traffic and weather conditions
- Valid truck driving license and clean driving record
- Extensive knowledge of trucking regulations
- Foresight and adaptability for unexpected situations
