Tow Truck Driver

First Choice Towing is a fast-growing, service-driven towing company serving Springfield and the surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on professionalism, safety, and dependable roadside assistance 24/7. We are looking for a motivated Tow Truck Driver to join our team and help us continue providing top-tier service to our customers and roadside partners.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tow Truck Operator with experience running a wrecker, rollback, or both
. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical awareness, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume call environment.

This position requires nights and weekends
.

• Safely operate a wrecker and/or rollback to recover and transport vehicles

• Respond promptly to dispatch for roadside assistance, towing, and accident calls

• Provide professional, courteous customer service

• Complete digital service tickets and photos through dispatch software

• Maintain truck cleanliness, equipment, and safety standards

• Follow all DOT, company, and industry regulations

• Work nights, weekends, and rotating on-call shifts as required

• Must meet minimum weekly quotas

• 1+ year of towing experience (wrecker, rollback, or both)

• Must provide proof of valid driver’s license and MVR

• Ability to pass a background check

• Required DOT medical card (or ability to obtain one)

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Experience with accident recoveries

• Familiarity with motor clubs

• Experience using digital dispatch systems

• Mechanical knowledge on passenger and/or fleet vehicles
