The Shift Lead is a frontline operations role responsible for managing warehouse floor execution during their assigned shift. This role supports and extends the authority of the Fulfillment Manager by executing daily labor plans, monitoring live operational performance, and ensuring all tasks are completed to standard. The Shift Lead is empowered to manage all shift‑level execution—including labor direction, documentation, and facility lockup—especially when the Fulfillment Manager is off‑site.

This role is critical for maintaining operational continuity, enforcing Good Company’s pace, safety, and compliance standards, and giving the Fulfillment Manager bandwidth to focus on training, coaching, and continuous improvement.

El Supervisor de Turno es un puesto de operaciones de primera línea responsable de gestionar la ejecución en el piso del almacén durante su turno asignado. Este puesto respalda y amplía la autoridad del Gerente de Cumplimiento ejecutando los planes de trabajo diarios, monitoreando el rendimiento operativo en tiempo real y asegurando que todas las tareas se completen conforme a los estándares.

El Supervisor de Turno está facultado para gestionar toda la ejecución a nivel de turno—including dirección de personal, documentación y cierre de la instalación—especialmente cuando el Gerente de Cumplimiento no está en el sitio.

• Labor Allocation & Task Execution – Allocate labor across pick, pack, replenish, and ad hoc projects based on volume, skill level, and operational priorities; adjust assignments as needed to meet throughput targets and clear SLA backlogs; execute specific tasks assigned by the Fulfillment Manager, including shift prep, special audits, and process checks.
• Live Monitoring & Performance Coaching – Use Ship Hero and Clockwise to track real‑time fulfillment activity across the team; provide in‑the‑moment feedback to warehouse associates on pace, order accuracy, and SOP compliance; issue verbal warnings for underperformance or behavior issues and document accordingly; recommend written warnings or further disciplinary action to the Fulfillment Manager.
• Incident Documentation & Shift Handoff – Log all shift‑level incidents, including safety violations, equipment issues, and order exceptions; complete daily documentation logs; ensure transparency and continuity between shifts by maintaining clean records.
• Facility Oversight & Closeout Duties – Perform full end‑of‑shift walkthrough including workstation reset (clean, stocked, organized); trash and debris cleared from all active areas; aisles and safety zones (emergency exits, fire extinguishers) cleared; open and close the warehouse independently when the Fulfillment Manager is off‑site, including arming/disarming the alarm system and securing all access points.
• Operational Escalation & Client Support – Respond to urgent operational issues that may arise from client escalations, volume spikes, or inventory exceptions; communicate through internal Slack channels, maintaining transparency and responding to requests from cross‑department channels; communicate with WAMs, Inventory, or Learning as directed to support client SLAs and issue resolution.
