Seasonal Order Clerk - 2nd shift

Job Description:

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This position primarily consists of picking books and other materials from racks and packing in boxes for orders to ship.

• Must be able to pick product from racks
• Package products according to work orders
• Label boxes
• Build displays according to work orders
• Must be able to work safely around moving equipment and conveyors
• Operate various types of equipment, i.e., pallet jack, tape guns, stickering machines, electronic handheld devices, RF scanners, headsets, etc.
• Work in a non-climatically controlled environment throughout the year
• Must be able to stand/walk on concrete floors for entire shift
• Must be able to read and comprehend a basic order form and communicate well with others

• Perform rework as required
• Must meet or exceed departmental standards for production, quality, and accuracy
• May work in different areas (departments) in operations based on business needs
• Adheres to facility hours to include overtime and weekends
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs. Refer to the Physical Demand Analysis

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have basic data entry skills

Starting Salary (2nd shift): $17.00 per hour + $2.00 shift differential = $19.00

Hours for 2nd shift: (locations) Monday‑Friday = 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. with OT at end.
