We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our client's team immediately. The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer payments, journal entries, and month-end close.
Responsibilities of Staff AccountantManage AR/AP activities and apply customer payments.
The Staff Accountant will prepare and post journal entries.
Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations.
Navigate and maintain accounting activity within SAP.
Support invoicing for longer-term manufacturing projects from quote through completion.
Collaborate with internal team members and an external CPA on accounting tasks.
Help maintain accurate and timely financial records.
Previous experience as a Staff Accountant, Accounting Specialist, or similar accounting role.
Manufacturing accounting experience preferred, particularly experience with longer-term invoicing cycles.
Hands-on SAP experience required.
Experience with AR, AP, journal entries, and month-end close.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
