* Job Summary:

* The Mailroom Specialist is responsible for various duties assigned to handling/scanning/sorting and processing outbound mail and packages. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to established quality and productivity standards.

** Responsibilities for the Mailroom Specialist includes but not limited to:*
* + Opening, prepping and scanning mail.

+ Prepping incoming electronic mail (E-Prep/FTP).

+ Processing of Outbound Mail by means of various postal equipment including mail inserters, postage meters, and computer.

+ Handling outgoing overnight packages.

+ Other mail room tasks as assigned.

+ Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

+ Maintain accurate production records and reports.

** REQUIREMENTS:*
* + High school diploma or equivalent required.

+ Prior experience working in a mailroom enviornment is preferred.

+ Basic computer skills.

+ Flexible to handle different assignment.

+ Ability to learn multiple policies and procedures.

+ Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working at a fast pace.

+ Good organizational and time management skills to meet production deadlines.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following instructions and guidelines.

+ Physical stamina to stand or sit for extended periods.

+ Flexibility to work overtime if necessary.

+ M-F: 7 AM - 3:30 PM EST

** Pay Details:**  $16.00 per hour
