A full-service acute care hospital in Springfield, Ohio is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgeon for locum call coverage in 2026.

• March: 7:00 AM on 3/13/2026 7:00 AM on 3/23/2026

• April: 7:00 AM on 4/3/2026 7:00 AM on 4/13/2026

• April/May: 7:00 AM on 4/27/2026 7:00 AM on 5/4/2026

• May: 7:00 AM on 5/15/2026 7:00 AM on 5/25/2026

• Full-service acute care hospital

• Adult patient population (100%)

• Hospital-based practice (100%)

• 250 total beds 60 ICU beds

• Physicians in practice: 1 Mid-levels: 2

• Onsite lab and X-ray

• EMR: EPIC

• General Cardiothoracic, Thoracic, and Vascular surgeries

• Coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG)

• Congenital defect repairs

• Valve repairs and replacements

• Aneurysm repair

• Lung resections (including VATS)

• Chest wall and pleural procedures

• Esophageal and diaphragm surgeries

• Carotid and renal endarterectomy

• Ventilation management

• Bronchoscopy

• Management of acute volume and BP issues

• Board Certified (Required)

• BLS & ACLS (Required)

• Active Ohio medical license (Required)

• Clean malpractice and background record (Required)

• COVID vaccination (Required)

• Must be able to cover listed dates

• NPDB Self-Query report (dated within 30 days at submission)
