Bon Secours Mercy Health Springfield Regional Medical Center (OB/GYN) is now looking for an Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join their team as soon as credentialed!
Dates of Coverage:
- Possibility of June coverage, 2 weeks prior to stat.
- July 17-19
- 2-3 weekends per month ongoing.
JOB DETAILS:
Friday (7a) - Monday (7a) - 24 hours - in house - laborist
Practice Setting:
Hospital Call 90 % Labor and Delivery
Coverage needs: 2 providers to help support at least once a month
Call
Schedule:
Two weekends a month Friday, Saturday and Sunday per above.
Call Ratio: 1:4 currently
Total Number of Beds: L&D/Post Partum /Triage 34 Beds Hospital 205

Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.), High Risk Pregnancy (i.e. with Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung Problems, Chronic Renal Disease, etc.), FHR Interpretation NST/CST/FSE, OB ultrasounds Performance of Interpretation, OB ultrasounds Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability)
Labor and Delivery Required Procedures:
Routine Delivery Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section, Complicated Delivery C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc, VBAC s, Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
Gynecology Required Procedures:
Surgical Gynecology Open, Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Only-Tubal Ligation, LOA s, Chromal Tubation, Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic) Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA s
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30-90 days
