Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgeon Opportunity

Bon Secours Mercy Health Springfield Regional Medical Center is seeking a Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgeon for call coverage!

Call Coverage Dates:

• Starting 5/28 (7a) - ongoing for at least 2 months
• After 2 months, will need sporadic coverage

Additional Details:

• Reason for need: provider had a medical emergency and could not cover
• Full-service acute care hospital
• Practice Caseload:
  Adult 100%;
  Hospital 100%
• Physicians in practice: 1;
  Mid-levels: 2
• Onsite lab and x-ray
• Documentation System: EPIC
• Total number of beds: 250; ICU beds: 60

Required Procedures:

• General CV/Thoracic/Vascular Surgeries
• Coronary artery bypass surgery
• Congenital defects
• Valvular repair/replacements
• Aneurysm repair
• Lung resection (including VATS)
• Chest wall/pleural procedures
• Esophagus/diaphragm surgeries
• Endarterectomy (Carotid & Renal)
• Ventilation management
• Bronchoscopy
• Evaluation & management of acute vol/BP issues

Travel Reimbursement Information:

• All bookings must be standard/economy
• Lodging must be within $150/night
• Anything else that exceeds this must be approved by the facility

Requirement

Description:

• Board Certified in Cardiovascular, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery - [REQUIRED]
• BLS/ACLS - [REQUIRED]
• OH state license - [REQUIRED]
• MUST HAVE CLEAN RECORD;
  Smaller payouts may be considered - [REQUIRED]
• Providers MUST be able to cover the listed dates to be considered - [REQUIRED]

Certification Requirements:

• ACLS
• BLS
• Board Certified

State License Requirements:

• Ohio

Additional License Requirements: MUST BE BC in Cardiovascular, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgery - no exceptions

Weekend Requirements: YES
