Required Procedures:
Provide post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular patients. Perform emergency surgery on cardiothoracic and vascular patients. Take consults and referrals from ED, Cath Lab, and hospital providers. Assist in surgery including vein harvesting and retrieval of vascular tissues. Coordinate care, round, interpret tests, and order tests. Write prescriptions.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery services (required) Other

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients. Perform emergency surgery interventions for cardiothoracic and vascular patients. Manage consults and referrals from Emergency Department, Cath Lab, and other hospital providers. Assist in surgical procedures including vein harvesting and retrieval of vascular tissues for bypass conduits. Coordinate patient care, conduct rounding, interpret diagnostic tests, and order necessary tests and medications.
