Schedule- Weekdays:
Monday to Friday, - Call Coverage:
In-house and beeper/phone call from 1500 to 0700 - Weekends: 24-hour on-site support; participation in floor call or OR call

Required Duties and Skills- Post-operative management for diverse cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients
- Emergency surgical intervention for cardiothoracic and vascular cases
- Consultation and referrals from Emergency Department, Cath Lab, and other hospital providers
- Competency in vein harvesting during cardiac procedures
- Participation in surgical assistance
- Prescription authority
- Care coordination
- Daily rounding
- Interpretation and ordering of diagnostic tests
- Retrieval of vascular tissues for bypass conduit use

Shift SummaryMonday to Friday: with beeper call from 1500 to 0700; on weekends, provide 24-hour on-site coverage.
Mandatory Qualifications- Board Certified in Vascular Surgery (REQUIRED)
- Active Ohio Medical License (NO new applications accepted) - (REQUIRED)
- Current ACLS Certification (REQUIRED)
- Current DEA Registration (REQUIRED)
- Clean professional background with no malpractice or licensing issues (REQUIRED)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery - (REQUIRED)
