The Springfield City School District serves approximately 7,500 Pre‑K through grade 12 students in 17 state‑of‑the‑art buildings in west‑central Ohio. • Develop lesson plans and instructional materials; provide individualized and small‑group instruction
• Differentiated instruction and use multiple approaches to meet diverse learning needs
• Accurately analyze data to plan instruction aligned with Common Core State Standards
• Design engaging lessons and assessments that meet the needs of all students
• Teach general music and choir at grades 5 and 6
• Apply research‑based pedagogy and maintain background knowledge of music

Contracted employees work 183 days per year, 7.25 hours per day. Starting salary follows negotiated agreement, increasing with experience and education. Contracted employees receive competitive benefits. All employees receive professional development. Current pay and benefits align with the 2025‑26 school year agreement.
