Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our team. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate electrical systems across a variety of applications and deliver scalable, high-impact results that support our mission and drive continuous improvement.

• Develop and design electrical systems, circuits, and components based on project requirements, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Perform load calculations, power distribution analysis, and other design-related calculations to ensure compliance with industry and aerospace standards and safety regulations.
• Build prototypes of electrical systems, perform testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide production liaison support to ensure the systems function as designed.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including cable and wire harness assemblies, wiring diagrams, wire routing, and design specifications for project stakeholders.
• Work closely with project managers, mechanical engineers, and other team members to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
• Ensure all electrical designs adhere to safety and design standards, codes (such as NEC, IEC, SAE (i.e. AS50881)), and any other regulatory requirements (i.e. environmental, electromagnetic, flammability, etc.).
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in electrical engineering technologies and propose innovations that improve system performance, cost, and energy efficiency.
• Plan and conduct tests to ensure that systems meet required performance and design standards, and work on improving the quality and reliability of electrical systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a similar role within the defense industry.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, Solid Works Electrical, or other similar electrical design software.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, power distribution, and control systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑engineering stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Will be required to qualify for and maintain at least a Secret Security Clearance.
