- Shift: 12 Hour Nights (3:00 PM – 1:00 AM, Monday–Thursday) — Night shift radiology technologist
- Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 3/23/2026 – End: 6/20/2026)
- Hours per Week: 36–40
- Average Daily Patient Volume: ~140
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1630-$1750
- Minimum 1 year of radiology and patient care experience (radiology tech experience preferred for travel roles)
- ARRT certification and registration (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) — required
- Valid Ohio radiology license — required for Springfield, OH assignments
- BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association — required
- Proficiency with stationary and portable radiography equipment; mobile/portable X-ray experience
- C-arm and fluoroscopy experience preferred (ability to work independently during cases)
- Experience with Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and PACS image management preferred
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, patient communication, and teamwork skills
- Obtain and document patient clinical history, allergies, and relevant lab work in RIS/PACS
- Position and immobilize patients for optimal diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Apply radiation protection principles and ALARA techniques to minimize exposure
- Perform radiographic procedures including portable X-rays, routine radiography, and assist with fluoroscopic exams
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment (stationary rooms, portable units, C-arms) and report issues
- Assist physicians and technologists during specialized radiography and interventional procedures
- Verify informed consent, complete required documentation, and log patient dose exposures
- Evaluate image quality, make necessary corrections, and ensure timely image submission to PACS
- Communicate professionally with physicians, ED staff, patients, and families; assist with patient transport as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized radiology work environment following facility policies
