his unit requires a minimum of 2 years CVICU experience as an RN, current experience recovering immediate post‑op CABG’s and TAVR’s and current experience managing Swan catheters. Experience charting with EPIC is also required.

Navy blue scrubs

Unit Size: 8 beds (combined within 30 bed ICU)

Ratios: 1:1-3, acuity dependent. 1:1 for fresh post‑op’s and 1:2-3 for more stable patients.

Patient Population:
Cardiothoracic Surgical ICU

Lines/Drains/Devices:
Swan Catheter experience required. Impella, VAD, IABP and CRRT experience preferred.

Airway:
Intubated patients on ventilators.

Drips:
Critical drips with titration.

Ancillary Staff:
Limited tech support in the ICU based on census and availability. Primarily total care.
