Position: Medication Technicians (Med Techs)

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Medication Technician to join our assisted living team. The Med Tech is responsible for safely administering medications to residents, supporting daily care needs, and ensuring a comfortable, respectful living environment. This role works closely with nursing staff to promote the health and well-being of our residents.

Qualifications
  • Must meet Ohio state requirements for Medication Technician/Medication Aide
  • Prior experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented approach to care
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed and in accordance with state regulations and facility policies
  • Accurately document medication administration and report any errors or concerns
  • Observe residents for changes in condition and report findings to the nurse or supervisor
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and mobility as needed
  • Maintain medication carts, storage areas, and records in a clean and organized manner
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and team members
