MRI | Emmanuel Way Springfield | Full-Time | First Shift

Responsibilities & Requirements

Job Summary The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI exams in a timely manner while maintaining a strong understanding of MRI safety protocols, including those related to research workflows. They interact positively with multiple patient populations and serve as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team. Flexibility is essential, as the position may require on-call availability and holiday coverage.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education
  • Graduate from ARRT accredited MRI educational program
  • Graduate from ARMRIT accredited MRI educational program
Minimum Work Experience

One year of MRI experience preferred.

Required Licenses
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT at hire (preferred)
  • ARRT in one of these Radiography (R), Nuclear Medicine (N), Radiation Therapy (T), Sonography (S) required and obtain ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT within 24 months of hire date
Current BLS Required

BLS required.

  • Well‑versed and compliant in MRI safety and understands research workflow for MRI safety requirements

  • Perform MRI examinations
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort

  • Maintain MRI equipment and safety standards
  • Collaboration with multi‑disciplinary health care team
  • Document and manage patient information
  • Research of implantable devices for MRI compatibility
  • Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards
  • Assist with workflow and operational efficiency
