About the Role:
RD Nutrition Consultants is seeking a Clinical Registered Dietitian (RDN) to support a skilled nursing facility in a full-time capacity. Position Details:
Setting:
Skilled Nursing Facility
Schedule:
40 hours per week Compensation: $35–$41 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Complete nutrition assessments for new admissions and quarterly reviews Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams (physicians, nurses, therapy, etc.) Provide nutrition education and counseling as needed Ensure compliance with CMS, DOH, and state/federal regulations Maintain accurate and timely documentation Monitor resident weights and identify nutrition-related concerns Conduct kitchen sanitation audits and support food service quality Review and approve menus to ensure USDA compliance
Qualifications:
Registered Dietitian (RDN) credential required Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field Active state licensure (if applicable) Clinical experience preferred (skilled nursing or LTC a plus) Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
