Aventura at Oakwood Assisted Living is looking for compassionate, dependable, and caring Resident Assistants to join our team. Resident Assistants play an important role in supporting our residents with their daily needs while promoting their comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

- Previous experience in assisted living, senior care, healthcare, or a related field is preferred
- Compassionate and respectful approach to resident care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and dependable
- Ability to work effectively as part of a care team
- Willingness to support residents with daily living needs
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed
- Provide assistance with meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration
- Answer resident call lights and respond promptly to resident needs
Observe residents and report changes in condition or behavior to the appropriate nursing staff - Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Encourage residents to participate in activities and maintain their independence
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
- Respect residents' privacy, dignity, and individual preferences
- Document care and services provided according to facility procedures
- Communicate resident concerns and needs to the appropriate team members
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Monday – Friday | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
