Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide on-site HR support for the Springfield data center, ensuring real-time employee relations, onboarding execution, compliance, and HR support in a 24/7 hyperscale operational environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong HR generalist experience with the ability to support a broad range of people operations, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and HR systems activities. They have working knowledge of employment law, leave administration, safety compliance, and HR best practices, and they thrive in a fast-paced environment focused on engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The role requiresa hands-on HR professional who can support daily HR operations, full-cycle recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, employee records management, leave and timekeeping administration, compliance tracking, and training coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day HR operations for employees and people leaders, serving as a trusted point of contact for HR-related questions and needs.
  • Provide consultative guidance and coaching to leaders and employees to ensure alignment with company policies, business objectives, and operational requirements.
  • Support full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt roles, including candidate screening, interview coordination, offer support, and onboarding.
  • Conduct and continuously improve new-hire orientation programs to promote engagement, compliance, and successful integration.
  • Assist with the administration of compensation, benefits, leave, and timekeeping programs; serve as a liaison between employees, site leadership, and corporate HR partners as needed.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-engagement work environment aligned with company values and culture.
  • Support employee relations activities, performance management processes, employee recognition and engagement initiatives, and organizational development efforts, escalating complex matters to the HR Manager as appropriate.
  • Coordinate health, safety, and compliance initiatives in partnership with site leadership, including OSHA training, certifications, and incident reporting.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring timely and accurate data entry and transactions within the HRIS and related systems.
  • Track and administer Workers' Compensation, FMLA, and other leave programs in accordance with company policy and applicable legal requirements.
  • Conduct I-9 verification and ensure ongoing employment eligibility compliance.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and contractors, including documentation, systems access coordination, and policy acknowledgments.
  • Provide support for LMS administration, training coordination, and compliance tracking.
  • Partner with the HR Systems & Operations Analyst to support payroll processing, audits, and data accuracy.
  • Coordinate contractor-related HR activities in alignment with company policies and vendor agreements.
    • Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and related employee relations matters, ensuring consistent application of policy.
  • Stay informed on employment legislation, regulatory requirements, and HR best practices to support compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Assist with investigations, escalations, and sensitive employee matters in partnership with the HR Manager.
  • Support cross-functional projects, ongoing initiatives, and perform other duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent HR experience
  • 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience
  • Experience in operational, industrial, or technical environments
  • Familiarity with OSHA and safety-driven workplaces
