We are looking for a dynamic HR Generalist to join our Compression Flow Technologies Business Unit in Enon, OH or Burbank, CA. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our HR leadership to drive HR initiatives, supporting both salaried and hourly employees. You will play a key role in shaping the employee experience and will have the opportunity to contribute to high‑impact projects.

- Recruitment – manages onboarding process including pre‑employment testing, new hire paperwork, orientation, and HRIS entry.
- HRIS – maintains Success Factors human resources information system database and files.
- Communication / Training – deploys HR plans, processes, programs and policies aligned with business objectives, including organizational design, succession planning, talent management/acquisition, goal alignment/performance management, employee engagement and communications.
- Partnership – collaborates with local HR business partners to share best practices, critical needs and issues, and local site and sector initiatives.
- Benefits – assists employees with benefits issues, annual open enrollment process, and wellness onsite annual screenings.
- Safety – ensures EHS compliance requirements are met, including submission of Worker's Comp claims; assists in the identification of safety training needs and ensures response programs are in place.
- Employee Relations – works closely with leadership, HR business partners and employees to improve work relationships, build positive engagement, increase productivity and retention; acts as employee advocate; creates positive change through coaching, counseling, and influencing skills; monitors employee climate to identify issues, trends and opportunities, proposing solutions or changes; drives and enables cultural transformation to support an employee ownership mentality; counsels management and employees regarding policies and procedures;
provides guidance and participation in performance improvement processes and employee issues, concerns or complaints. - Other responsibilities as assigned or required.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources.
- Self‑motivated and reliable, with the ability to work independently to prioritize and pivot to meet the changing needs of the organization and collaborate effectively within HR and business teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- SHRM‑CP or SCP is a plus.
- SAP Success Factors experience preferred.
- Sound judgment and problem‑solving ability with strong relationship building skills.
- Expertise in employee relations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- This position will be on‑site based in Enon, OH or Burbank, CA, with minimal anticipated travel.
