** Job Description s:
**** Essential Function:
** Design, implement, and maintain secure, reliable, high‑performance SQL Server–based database and data platform solutions—including data warehouse, datamart, and data lake environments—that support Silfex’s mission‑critical operations and analytics.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Administer SQL Server instances, clusters, SQL Agent jobs, and resource usage across environments.
* Ensure High Availability & Disaster Recovery readiness, including failover validation, backup/restore execution, and overall DR preparedness.
* Monitor and optimize database performance through proactive tuning, workload analysis, and index management.
* Support data warehouse, datamart, and data lake environments, ensuring reliable data flows and alignment with analytics requirements.
* Manage and monitor SSISbased ETL pipelines and SSRS reporting deployments across Dev/QA/Prod.
* Automate routine DBA tasks to improve reliability, repeatability, and operational efficiency.
* Ensure security and compliance of all databases and portals, implementing best practices for data protection and access control.
* Develop and maintain documentation for database architecture, processes, controls, and security protocols.
* Maintain compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
* Provide coaching, mentoring, and training for new or less experienced team members.
* Stay current with emerging database technologies and security standards to recommend improvements and optimizations.
* Collaborate with self-directed and cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environment.
