ULTRA GSC Field Service Representative

** Position Summary*
* MAG is recruiting for a
** Ground Systems Controller**  **/ Field Service Representitive
** to support the ULTRA program/contract.

The GSC/FSR functions as a technical expert for ground systems with an emphasis on network maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and general support for the CONUS ULTRA GCS in support of operations.

** Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
* Duties include, but not limited to:

+ Maintain, configure, and support Ground Control Station (GCS) hardware and software systems.

+ Manage and maintain GCS network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls,and servers.

+ Ensure reliable operation of LOS and BLOS communication links (SATCOM, RF, andIP-based links).

+ Perform system updates, upgrades, and configuration changes in accordance with program and customer requirements.

+ Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for GCS and network-related issues.

+ Provide technical guidance and support to engineers, FSRs, and operational teams basedon customer requirements.

+ Support system integration, testing, and validation activities.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex GCS and network issues during operations and deployments.

* + Demonstrated experience supporting GCS systems and equipment, network infrastructure, or mission-critical control systems

+ Strong understanding of IP networking (Layer 1-3), including VLANs, routing, and network troubleshooting

+ Experience supporting Line of Sight (LOS) and Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) datalink and communications systems.

+ Ability to work independently while serving as a technical point of contact.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills in customer-facing environments.

+ CompTIA Security+ certification (required).

** Preferred Skills/

Qualifications:

* + Experience supporting aviation, UAS, or defense-related programs.

+ Familiarity with SATCOM systems and RF networking concepts.

+ Experience supporting deployed or operational environments.

+ CompTIA Network+ certification (preferred).

+ Additional relevant networking or security certifications (e.g., CCNA).

** Clearance*
* + US Citizen and Active Secret Clearance required

CONUS based, with potential for OCONUS travel.

The projected compensation range for this position is $70000 to $130000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
