** Job Description s:
** As the
** Director of Maintenance and Facilities**, you will be responsible for the strategic vision and leadership of a highly technical and skilled team that oversees the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, building and other facilities systems (electrical, water, HVAC, instrumentation & controls, etc.). You will also provide technical expertise and project management for various non-facilities undertakings as required.

You will report to the Senior Director of Supply Chain and collaborate with other senior leaders to ensure alignment of facilities management with Silfex’s overall business strategy.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Display a positive attitude and strong work ethics that reflect the Mission and Core Values of Silfex.
* Develop, refine, and manage the facilities and maintenance annual budget and KPIs.
* Responsibility for the development and implementation of strategic leadership and vision for multiple sites.
* Responsible for implementation and oversight of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.
* Identify and drive business/process improvements that reduce waste and continually improve the quality of operations.
* Oversee and/or execute Capital Improvement projects including machine installation, renovation, and expansion. Develop and maintain a five-year plan for all facilities based on new process requirements and maintenance planning.
* Initiate and maintain the Facilities Capital list including recommendations for equipment replacements.
* Recruit, hire, train, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.
* Review building designs and monitor progress of projects.
* Confer with internal and external resources to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
* Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the Silfex Manufacturing System and the Quality Management System and properly apply Quality Procedures and Operating Procedures as appropriate.
* Perform all work-related tasks in a safe manner and report any unsafe conditions to Silfex management.
