Position Details

Location:

Springfield, Ohio. 2nd Shift Production Lead 1—8‑10 hour shifts, 5 days a week. Bi‑weekly pay $20.84‑$21.49 per hour. Resume required during application process.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ability to oversee floor operations in one production area:
    Packaging, Scales, or Box Room.
  • Coordinate the activities of co‑workers to meet production needs.
  • Follow and enforce all house rules and company policies such as GMPs, SQF, safety rules, and Production Lead SOPs.
  • Has the responsibility and authority to report any problems pertaining to safety, food safety and quality to the supervisor.
  • Prepare run sequences.
  • Assign employees by line and task.
  • Coordinate relief for breaks, lunch, and shift switchover.
  • Communicate with shift supervisors regarding daily events.
  • Perform all of the department job functions as necessary.
  • Able to work around equipment and machinery.
  • Requires extensive problem‑solving skills.
  • Must be capable of performing and verifying PMO’s quality checks.
  • Plan and execute product changeovers.
  • Must be capable of performing and verifying Translicer/Cutter/Carrot/Cabbage checks.
  • Complete data entry for changeovers and rework area.
  • Scan MP bins to line with scanner in Scale Mezzanine and rework.
  • Complete paperwork duties.
  • Manage Scale Mezzanine, Rework and Box Room.
  • Adhere to all policies, practices, and SOPs related to producing safe quality food (SQF).
  • Ensure the integrity and continued operation of the food safety system during organizational or personnel changes.
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements

Position is considered “safety sensitive” and requires passing an independently administered drug screen.

Experience:

Performing all functions for the specified area. Qualified candidates must possess leadership skills.
