Overview
FORKLIFT OPERATOR Full-time, Monday thru Friday with overtime required when necessary, including some weekends. This is an hourly position with growth potential. You will be responsible for all activities associated with safely operating and caring for the forklift.
Qualifications- High School Diploma/GED.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in a state-of-the-art, fast-paced environment.
- At least 6 months experience operating a sit-down forklift in a fast-paced environment.
- Work at a fast pace delivering stock and removing finished goods from machines.
- Complete and document a forklift inspection form at the start of each shift, notify supervisor if repairs are needed.
- Maintain neat, orderly, and safe stacks of stock in storage areas.
- Complete all necessary reporting in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate location of stock in storage by utilizing computer-based inventory system.
- Adhere to daily production schedule. Make recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, delivery, and service goals.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintain good housekeeping.
- Additional duties assigned as necessary.

The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms;
and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License.
