Compensation & Benefits
  • $25.00 - $36.00 per hour based on experience
  • Additional $2.00/hour shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts
  • Additional $3.00/hour for qualified machinists operating multiple machines simultaneously

Shift Schedule

Training Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Available Shifts

  • 2nd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM
  • 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Position Summary

The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and machining precision components to exact specifications while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machining equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
  • Load, edit, and verify CNC programs
  • Perform tool changes and offset adjustments
  • Monitor machining operations and troubleshoot issues
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
  • Verify parts meet required specifications and tolerances
  • Perform preventive maintenance and machine inspections
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all quality, safety, and operational procedures
Equipment & Technology

Work with advanced manufacturing equipment including:

  • CNC Lathes
  • CNC Mills (3, 4, and 5 Axis)
  • Mill-Turn Centers
  • CNC Boring Mills
  • CNC Bridge Mills
  • Fanuc Controls
  • Mazatrol Controls
  • Okuma Controls
  • Flexible Manufacturing Systems (FMS)
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • CNC machining experience or machinist certification
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience using precision measuring tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Requirements
  • Must be able to pass a background check, medical examination, and drug screening
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to aerospace program requirements
