Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, General Labor
Summary
Reporting to the Dealership Manager, the incumbent performs testing, inspections, and general mechanical service on tanker trucks, trailers, and related equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems, tanker unloading systems, and truck hydraulic systems to ensure equipment operates safely and meets DOT compliance standards.
The Technician assists customers by pulling and distributing stocked parts to fulfill customer orders or install on customer equipment, performs inventory maintenance and reconciliation, and performs parts receiving and inventory control duties while supporting overall dealership service operations.

Position requires ability to pass DOL requirements of a grade 4 heavy work physical capacity profile. This includes exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
Visual requirements include clarity of vision at a distance of more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet without correction, color vision, depth perception and field of vision.

Special Conditions Of Employment- Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, candidates are required to pass a pre‑employment physical and drug screen.
- Must possess and maintain Class C – Operator's license.
- Must meet and maintain Company insurability standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience.
- Salary: $20.50 – $33.50 per hour.
