General Description / Primary

Purpose:

We are hiring Production Workers for 1st and 2nd shift to support our operations. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for producing high-quality products in a safe and fast‑paced environment. • Stand for long periods while trimming lettuce, loading the line, watching for foreign objects, and maintaining clean floors.
• Add color and operate the Bin Dumper.
• Work flexibly in assigned areas throughout the day.
• Understand plant operations and various departments.
• Be a self‑starter and possess initiative.
• Learn new assignments as required.
• Adhere to all policies, practices, and SOPs related to producing Safe Quality Food (SQF).
• Ensure the integrity and continued operation of the food safety system during organizational or personnel changes.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Pack the correct number of bags per box.
• Check for correct bag codes and expiration dates.
• Inspect bags for defects (wrinkles, product in the seal, open bag, under/overweight, etc.).
• Check for foreign objects and missing/broken master packs.
• Rework salad bags and stack boxes of salads on skids.
• Be punctual, follow directions, and interact well with co‑workers.

• Read and work in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Previous food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as required.

• Work in cold temperatures (32–35°F).
• Follow PPE protocol (hairnet, hardhat, gloves, smock/safety vest).
• No jewelry (earrings, necklaces, rings, watches) on production floors.
• Stand, walk, climb, and work in confined or awkward spaces for extended periods.
• Maneuver around equipment in a cold environment.
• Bend, stoop, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.

• High School Diploma required.

• 4‑day / 10‑hour work schedule
• Saturdays may be scheduled as a 12‑hour shift based on production needs

1st Shift – $17.06/hour

• Trim: 5:45 AM – 3:45 PM (Mondays 5:00 AM start)
• Packaging: 5:20 AM – 4:30 PM (Mondays 5:35 AM start)

2nd Shift – $17.51/hour

• Trim: 3:30 PM – until production is finished
• Packaging: 4:15 PM – until production is finished
