Location: Springfield, OH
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 5:00 AM-3:30 PM | OT Friday/Saturday as Needed
We're hiring an experienced CNC Pulley Machinist to operate CNC equipment and manufacture precision components in a fast‑paced production environment. This role requires reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools, and operating CNC machinery.
CNC Pulley Machinist Requirements- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous CNC machining or CNC machine operator experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Familiarity with CNC programming, machine setup, and machining processes preferred.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently bend, stoop, and reach throughout a 10‑hour shift.
- Ability to lift to 25 pounds continuously during the workday.
- Steel‑toe shoes and safety glasses required while working in production areas.
- Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.
Job Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision tooling and pulley components.
- Operate additional machine shop equipment, including lathes, end mills, and grinders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Measure, mark, and prepare materials for machining operations.
- Verify dimensions, alignments, and tolerances using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments.
- Enter machine programs and CNC commands to retrieve stored data and production specifications.
- Select appropriate tooling, cutting speeds, feeds, and machine settings for production.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards and blueprint specifications are met.
- Maintain accurate production records and perform basic computer data entry.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with all manufacturing safety standards.
- Support continuous production while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Perform other machining and production duties as assigned.
