FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Full‑time, 1st Shift Monday‑Friday with overtime as required, including some weekends. Hourly position with growth potential. Responsible for safely operating and caring for the forklift.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong desire to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment
- Previous experience operating a sit‑down forklift
- Work at a fast pace delivering stock and removing finished goods from machines.
- Complete and document a forklift inspection form at the start of each shift; notify supervisor if repairs are needed.
- Maintain neat, orderly, and safe stacks of stock in storage areas.
- Complete all necessary reporting accurately and timely.
- Maintain accurate location of stock using computer‑based inventory system.
- Adhere to daily production schedule; make recommendations for optimizing the schedule.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and housekeeping.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Ability to read and follow factory instructions.
- Mathematical skills: read tape measure, calculate percentages, measurements, volume, rate, apply high school math concepts.
- Reasoning ability: apply common sense to written, oral or graphic instructions; solve problems with standardized situations.
- Technical knowledge: equipment design and capabilities, product layouts, production specifications, quality specifications and standards.
- May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License.
- Stand, walk, talk or hear for the duration of shift.
- Use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly; occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions.
- Occasional exposure to high places, fumes, airborne particles, vibration.
- Noise level usually loud.
- Operating standards: quality, cost, safety, customer satisfaction, productivity.
