SUMMARY: The Digital Content Marketing/Copywriter position is a mid-level position that will be responsible for developing and implementing The Ohio Masonic Communities overall content marketing strategy, including planning, creating, distributing, and analyzing content across various channels to attract and engage target audiences. They will be responsible for developing compelling content for a wide variety of products and services for The Ohio Masonic Communities that will drive brand awareness, lead generation, and business growth through strategic content marketing.Content marketing initiatives will include mailers, letters, brochures, appeals, social media management, blog posts, website copy, email copy and campaigns, and various publications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 1. Develop a comprehensive content calendar with themes, topics, and distribution channels
- 2. Oversee the creation of high-quality content across various formats like blog posts, articles, videos, infographics, publications, emails, social media posts, and webinars
- 3. Define content marketing goals aligned with business objectives
- 4. Manage and optimize the Hub Spot marketing automation platform, including email campaigns, workflows, lead nurturing, segmentation, reporting, and CRM integration to support marketing and sales objectives
- 5. Implement SEO best practices to optimize content visibility in search engines
- 6. Monitor key content performance metrics such as website traffic, lead generation, social engagement, and conversion rates and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- 7. Develop copy for a variety of media including social, print, video, and digital
- 8. Edit and proof work to ensure brand standards are met across all content outputs
- 9. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams, HR, resource center, and foundation to assess project needs and help with messaging
- 10. Collaborate with design teams to develop marketing materials
- 11. Ensure all content and communications align with brand voice and messaging
- 12. See projects through the whole creative process, from inception to deployment
- 13. Other job duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or other related field
- 5-10 years of marketing or agency experience
- Previous experience with Hub Spot or other marketing automation platform
- Previous experience in content marketing or copywriting
- Previous experience managing social media accounts
- Previous experience working for non-profit organization preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
