Think Tank, Inc. equips groups to rethink poverty and partner with those affected to create lasting change. Through training, community engagement, and leadership development, Think Tank helps organizations create more human-centered, dignity-centered solutions. The Change Leader Alliance is a Think Tank initiative that supports individuals with lived experience of poverty in developing their voice, leadership, and influence while helping communities build more authentic partnerships and lasting solutions.
The Change Leader Alliance Community Engagement VISTA will help strengthen the systems, partnerships, and tools needed to grow this work across the Springfield and Dayton, Ohio region. This role focuses on creating sustainable outreach tools, recruitment processes, partnership strategies, communication resources, and program systems that help CLA grow beyond the service year. The VISTA member will support recruitment and engagement of Change Leaders, help identify and connect with community partners, strengthen tracking and onboarding tools, gather stories and program highlights, and assist with communication, fundraising, and impact materials.

Member Duties :
The Ameri Corps VISTA member will build capacity for Think Tank's Change Leader Alliance by strengthening systems, partnerships, and tools that support long-term growth. The member will help improve recruitment and engagement processes for individuals with lived experience of poverty, create outreach and follow-up tools, support onboarding materials, and document clear pathways for deeper leadership opportunities. The member will also identify and connect with community partners in Clark, Champaign, Montgomery, and Greene counties;
develop tracking tools for partner outreach; gather stories, quotes, data, and program highlights; and assist with communication, fundraising, and impact materials such as an annual report or donor-facing resources.
