Job Details

Job located in Springfield, Ohio – full‑time RN Pediatric Nurse. The position is onsite at the South Limestone location of Rocking Horse Community Health Center (RHCHC), a Federally Qualified Health Center serving Clark and Madison County.

Compensation and benefits: competitive salary, medical, dental & vision coverage, company‑paid life and LTD insurance, up to 4 weeks paid time off per year, and 10 paid holidays.

RN Pediatric Nurse
Primary Service Center:
Springfield, Ohio – Onsite for South Limestone location.
FLSA Status:
Non‑Exempt – Hourly Position.

Work Hours:

Full‑time.

Education & Licensing Requirements

Minimum Associate’s Degree (AA) from a two‑year college or technical school. Licensed Nurse in the State of Ohio. CPR certification required; RHCHC can obtain it.

Qualifications
  • Education and experience:

    Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school.
  • Licenses:
    Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse licensure in Ohio; CPR certification required; applicable life support training (PALS/ACLS) preferred. Current driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
  • Language skills:
    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional documents; write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals; present information effectively.
  • Mathematical skills:
    Ability to calculate figures, percentages, and apply basic algebra and geometry.
  • Reasoning ability:
    Solve problems and interpret instructions with limited standardization.
  • Computer skills:
    Competence with database software.
  • Other skills:
    Understanding of Federally Qualified Health Centers, commitment to quality, team approach, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Confidentiality:
    Understand privacy policies and procedures; handle PHI appropriately.
  • Physical demands:
    Stand, use hands, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, meet vision requirements.
  • Work environment:
    Interact with patients and public; moderate noise; exposure to blood/body fluids; schedule may include evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
