Locum Nurse Practitioner

- Shift: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM;
Weekend 24-hour onsite support & call - Hours/week: 40
- Employment Type: Locum
- License/Certifications: Active Nurse Practitioner license in Ohio
- Experience: Prior cardiothoracic/vascular surgery experience preferred
- Pay rate: Competitive hourly rate (details discussed upon application)

- Provide post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients
- Assist with emergency surgeries and consults from ED, Cath Lab, and hospital providers
- Perform vein harvesting during surgeries
- Assist in surgeries and interpret diagnostic tests
- Order and coordinate tests and procedures
- Document patient care accurately in EMR (Epic)
- Participate in on-call coverage, including weekends and after-hours emergencies
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Ohio
- Experience in cardiothoracic or vascular surgery settings (preferred)
- Skills in post-op care, emergency procedures, and patient management
- Ability to perform vein harvesting and assist in surgeries
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
