- Shift: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM;
On-call: 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM (weekends and after hours) - Hours/Week: 40+

- Certifications: Ohio State License, BLS, ACLS (if required)
- Experience: Prior cardiothoracic or vascular surgery experience preferred
- Hourly Pay Rate: (rate discussed upon application)

- Provide post-operative care for adult cardiothoracic and vascular patients
- Assist in emergency surgeries and procedures, including vein harvesting and tissue retrieval
- Respond to consults from Emergency Department, Cath Lab, and hospital providers
- Collaborate with the surgical team during procedures and rounds
- Prescribe medications and coordinate patient care plans
- Interpret diagnostic tests and order procedures as needed
- Maintain detailed documentation in EMR (Epic)
- Valid Ohio Nurse Practitioner license
- Experience in cardiothoracic or vascular surgery (preferred)
- Ability to perform post-op care, emergency interventions, and take part in surgeries
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and handle on-call responsibilities
This assignment provides inpatient coverage at a well-established hospital with a trauma level 2 designation, focusing on cardiothoracic and vascular patient care. The role involves both scheduled procedures and emergent interventions, supporting a diverse adult and geriatric patient population. The team aims to ensure quality care through skilled nursing and surgical support.
