Noll Veterinary Hospital in Springfield, Ohio has grown since 1982 into a full‑service companion‑animal clinic offering diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and K‑Laser therapy. The hospital remains true to its agricultural roots through on‑farm visits for horses and livestock.
Key Responsibilities- Determine animal requirements by conducting examinations and interviews, reviewing care plans and records, completing laboratory tests and studies, and diagnostic imaging.
- Care for patients by taking vital signs, collecting samples, administering medications, drugs and vaccines, and bandaging wounds.
- Support patient examinations and operations by assembling supplies, restraining patients, and assisting the veterinarian.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes, pharmacology, and specialized equipment usage.
- Obtain and verify medications; ensure proper inventory and documentation of controlled drugs.
- Maintain a safe, sanitary and humane environment, including sterilizing instruments, disinfecting areas, storing supplies, and following legal regulations.
- Document patient conditions, reactions, and changes; update the electronic database accurately and promptly.
- Communicate patient status to owners as directed by the veterinarian.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, performing preventive maintenance and coordinating repairs.
- Release pets to owners, ensuring they are clean and properly groomed.
- Follow written and oral directions and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician (LVMT) as required by state regulation.
- Full Time, Rotating Shifts
- Four 10‑hour shifts with 3 days off
$18 — $21.13 USD
